Adventist Behavioral Health Eastern Shore was honored to host a visit by Maryland Senator Richard F. Colburn on July 27. The facility is part of Adventist Behavioral Health, the most comprehensive provider of behavioral health services in the National Capital area, with facilities in Montgomery and Anne Arundel counties.
Kevin Drumheller, Executive Director of Adventist Behavioral Health’s Eastern Shore campus, hosted the meeting in an effort to build better relationships with policy makers regarding the care of children with behavioral health challenges on the Eastern Shore.
Senator Colburn toured the facility, guided by a resident who participated in the Special Olympics Torch Run. At the end of the tour, Senator Colburn received a framed photo of the four residents involved in the Special Olympics Torch Run as a thank you for carrying the torch for mental health.
