You may not have realized how many health benefits a simple activity like walking can have. Studies have shown that after age 65, the speed at which you walk may be linked to how long you have to live, reports the Harvard Health Letter.
Research shows that the benefits of walking and physical activity for only 30 minutes a day include:

All of our members receive access to free health information and blood pressure screenings each week. We also host a monthly walking club breakfast and monthly “health chats” with experts from our participating entities:
