This Monday, March 17, the Aquilino Cancer Center opens its cancer rehab services. These services join the long list of clinical and support services already in the Cancer Center. Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital will provide these services. Therapists will treat effects related to the following cancers:
- Head and neck
- Spinal cord
- Lymphedema therapy
- Endurance training
- Energy conservation
- Adaptive equipment for self-care
- Swallowing therapy
- Cognitive linguistic rehabilitation
- Motor speech rehabilitation
- Manual therapy
Patients can find more rehab services and therapies at Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital’s Rockville hospital, located on the same campus as the Aquilino Cancer Center.
